Pay per click management is the foundation
of your PPC campaign. PPC management is based on three
principals:
• Click-Through-Rates (CTR)
• Cost Per Click (CPC)
• Return on Investment (ROI)
Click through rates are based on the
amount of impressions or how many times a specific
word or group of word phrases are typed on search engines.
A percentage CTR is measured by how many people click
on your ad out of those keyword searches.
Example: Say a keyword is searched 1000
times per month and out of that 1000 your ad produced
10% CTR, that would equal 100 clicks or visitors to
your web site.
CPC is the amount per click through
to your site. You are not charged for the amount of
impressions for a particular search phrase.
